Certifications

Our Certifications

The excellence and quality of our products and processes are attested by the numerous certifications we have gained, which also allow us to export our products around the world and to be a strategic partner of the most important large retailers.
BRC

FOOD SAFETY

We operate in accordance with the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. Being certified by the British Retail Consortium testifies that we take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our products, with a continuous commitment to:
  • respecting standards
  • product quality control
  • safety at work and within the supply chain.

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 regulates the quality control of a production process by continuously monitoring it. In essence, it is a management system for both humans and machine resources; a key prerequisite for customer satisfaction.

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION

European regulations (EC 834/07 and EC 889/08) ensure the conformity of organically produced products at all stages of the production chain, from field to table.

KOSHER CERTIFICATION

Kosher certification is a service offered to food companies that have a national and international market. Kosher certification is a useful marketing tool for companies that aspire to sell their products to large retailers. A high percentage of supermarket chains in the United States require suppliers to have Kosher certification because this way they can sell to the entire consumer market.

SMETA 2 PILLAR AUDIT

SMETA stands for "Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit" and was developed by the Sedex Associate Auditor Group (AAG), through multi-stakeholder consultation, to provide a framework on best practices that allows audits to be carried out and reports drawn up related to the social aspects of business. Companies, including us, use it to ascertain their quality standards in the areas of health and safety, workers' rights, the environment, and business ethics.

COSTCO STANDARD

Costco Wholesale Corporation is a large American chain of wholesale hypermarkets that has defined a private protocol to which its suppliers must adhere. Through three portals, EFA, TRAQTION and AZZULE, this chain makes the names of approved suppliers and the results of audits carried out available, in order to facilitate purchases from approved suppliers.

SOLAS 74

SOLAS is the IMO (International Maritime Organisation) convention to ensure the safeguarding of human life at sea. Since 1 July 2016, the amendments to the SOLAS 74 Convention, relating to international maritime container shipments, have been in force. These amendments require certified procedures for carrying out weighing procedures to determine the verified gross container mass (VGM), according to Method 2.
